Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple
Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple  is a Hindu sanctuary in Ambalappuzha, Alapuzha region of Kerala, in south India. The Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna Temple is accepted to have been constructed amid fifteenth – seventeenth AD by the neighborhood ruler Chembakasserry Pooradam Thirunal-Devanarayanan Thampuran. The symbol at Ambalapuzha is compared to Parthasarthi with a whip in the privilege hand and a Shankhu (holy conch) in the left. This sanctuary is specifically related to the Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Temple. Amid the strikes of Tipu Sultan in 1789, the symbol of Sri Krishna from the Guruvayoor Temple was brought to the Ambalappuzha Temple for safety's sake. The payasam served in the Ambalappuzha Temple is celebrated among Hindu aficionados. This sweet pudding made of rice and milk has an intriguing legendary legend behind it.It is believed that Guruvayoorappan reaches here daily at the time of Palpayasa Nedyam to have it
